Who can drive?

The PalmerSport driving event has only a small number of restrictions on those eligible to take part. However, there are a few ground rules, which are listed below.

Driving licences

All guests will be required to produce a valid, current, full driving licence (card and paper counterpart) upon registration. An overseas driving licence is acceptable.

Height and weight limitations

We will endeavour to accommodate every guest; however, some of the cars are a little restrictive. Please ask for guidance if you have any concerns about your guests' sizes. As a very general indication, anyone under 5' or over 6'4" and 18 stone may encounter difficulties.

Guests under 21 years of age

Guests under the age of 21 but over the age of 18 may be permitted to drive with prior written permission. Please call for details.

Guests with a competition licence

Guests with a current motor racing competition licence must obtain prior written permission to drive at PalmerSport. Please call for details.

Spoken English

A reasonable command of the English language is required in order to safely participate in our event.
