If you want an idea of the calibre of drivers we employ to instruct our guests, the fact that former instructors have included F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and IndyCar star Justin Wilson provides it. A PalmerSport instructor needs to be so much more than a prodigious talent behind the wheel. They have to go through a strict training programme and then pass a rigorous test before our Chief Instructor will let them sit next to our guests.

They must show not simply that they can drive incredibly quickly, without making the smallest error, but also and just as importantly, that they have the necessary communication skills to ensure our guests feel comfortable and happy behind the wheel, giving them both the confidence and the inspiration to push themselves harder than they ever have before. Perhaps that's why fewer than 10% of applicants ever make it as far as meeting our customers.

And the result? PalmerSport instructors accelerate the progress of our guests faster than you could ever imagine. Equipped with radio intercoms in every car (except the Formula Jaguar) they coach and encourage our guests to drive faster than many thought would ever be possible.
